The Art Petting Zoo débuted on January 4th 2008 at the Phoenix First Friday Art Walk.

A simple concept; the Art Petting Zoo offers event patrons the opportunity to express their creativity through drawing, painting, or sculpture absolutely free.

Those who feel creative can stop and create a drawing, painting, or sculpture and there's no cost to participate thanks to our event sponsors.

Artists will have their art photographed as a way to keep track of participation and can take their creation with them or donate their finished work to the silent auction.

The Silent Auction will be held no less than once per quarter at Jerry's Artarama in Tempe Arizona and all monies raised will be donated to local arts organizations.
